About

These are my adventures, however mundane or extraordinary, during my stay in Belgium.
The potential idea for this blog is to post a snapshot of a special occurrence from my day with a description about the picture on a daily basis. Or at least try to the best of my ability to accomplish this mission.

Today we got up and went to the Old Town in the morning, and I had an “Old Prague Bratwurst” for breakfast. We hung around the Old Town until the hour in order to see the “show” that was mandated by the town in order to make the bell ringing more entertaining. There were little figures marching around followed by a trumpeter. After this little “performance”, we walked to the other side of the river and saw the John Lennon wall, the Prague Castle, and the castle’s gardens.

Then we caught a train to go to Kutna Hora, which is probably one of the creepiest towns I have ever seen. The reason we went to this tiny town outside of Prague was to see the Ossuary, which is a church that is decorated with the skeletons of those who died from the Plague. It was super creepy, but it was also really cool in a way. I really liked it.

After seeing the Ossuary and walking around town for a bit, we caught a train back to Prague and decided to see the city center at night, which included the Old Town and the Charles Bridge.
